1951-1956, President 2011-12. David Haines comments ‘After having been in the same class at school almost 70 years ago Ted and I rekindled our friendship purely through the Old Theocsbrian Committee. Ted gave us all a fright some three years ago when he and his wife failed to appear at a Dumbleton Cricket Club lunch. He had had a brain tumour en route and had been rushed to hospital in Bristol with little expectation of survival.
But survive he did, to set up the OT's website, to organise each of the Spring Re-Unions and to buy the Jaguar that he had always craved. He was a fine man and probably the most proactive member of the Old Theocsbrians Committee. He will be greatly missed’.
